New Leaf Engineering is a group of professional engineers driven by commitment, excellence and reliable customer relations, located in Los Angeles Area, Southern California, New Leaf prides itself on fostering a collaborative environment, based on equal opportunity, inclusively and local outreach.
Our professional staff includes people with multiple degrees, who hold California state professional registration. We are also member of a various professional organizations such as American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), American Society for Metals (ASM) and American National Standards Institute (ANSI).
MEET THE TEAM
Sam Khansa, MS, PE
President
Sam is a Registered Civil Engineer with a Master Degree from Cal. State, Long Beach and over 20 years of experience in engineering design and management. Sam believes in partnership relations with the clients and is committed to high quality work.
Sam plays guitar and is also interested in classical music.
Mike Akel, PhD
Engineering Manager
Mike has a Doctorate Degree in Structural Engineering and has over 30 years of experience. His extensive work experience along with a theoretical background makes him a great lead for the engineering department.
Mike is interested in international literature.
Ayah Younes, BA
Office Manager
Ayah has a degree in English Literature, her experience in sales and planning makes her a great contact point between the clients and New Leaf.
Ayah is a pianist and she is interested in enriching herself with different kinds of cultures from all around the world.
